New Card Challenges: Joy








This week, I made a card in response to two card challenges. The Paper Players challenge is to make a card with Riding Hood Red, Always Artichoke and River Rock. I had not used Riding Hood Red in a while, but I really do like anything red. Freshly Made Sketches had a layout challenge, where stampers are to make a card with the given layout. Those are fun for me because they give me ideas of how to design my cards differently.

Here is what I used to make the card:

Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set
Always Artichoke Card Stock, 8 1/2" X 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4"
Bella Rose Designer Series Paper, 2" X 3 3/4" (two pieces)
River Rock Card Stock, 4" X 5 1/4"
Very Vanilla Card Stock 2 1/4" X 3 3/4"
Always Artichoke Classic Ink
Ridinghood Red Classic Ink
Red jewels
Sizzix Hero Arts Framelets Stamp & Die cut set
Snowburst Embossing Folder

    Oh so pretty! This has been a very popular sketch in blogland this week---at least with the stampers I've seen! LOVE this tree! I wish my Christmas tree could look like this! Thanks for playing with my PP color challenge this week!
