This week's theme is music, and I thought right away of The Sounding Joy stamp set. Joy to the World is one of my favorite Christmas songs, and the stamp set is so pretty.
Embossing cards and other stamped projects adds sparkle and dimension. I have been working on Christmas and birthday cards. Here is the one I made for the PPA Challenge 113.
Here is the card I made for the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge 111. I have really had fun using the French Foliage stamp set to create wreaths, so I decided to use that for the card along with the new Snow Flurry embossing folder. I just love Cherry Cobbler with Old Olive!
When I saw the latest PPA challenge, I loved the colors so I started playing around with ideas. I really had fun with this one! I used the XL oval punch for the vase, the new lace border punch for a table runner and the blossom bouquet punch for the flowers.
I saw the Paper Players Challenge on their blog, and the colors really interested me. I really like Baja Breeze and Crumb Cake, and kind of needed ideas to use Poppy Parade with different colors. Here is what I came up with using the Fabulous Florets Stamp Set.
July Stamp Club is coming next week and I wanted to show a preview of what we will make. We will make a Christmas card so that people can start getting ideas for their holiday card making, and we will make a card that is embossed in two places. Check out the pictures!
This week's PPA Challenge asked stampers to think about how they spend their summer days. I enjoy watching birds during the summer and I love the Elements of Style stamp set, so this is what I came up with.
